God Loves YOU!

The gold-colored heart tells me that God not only loves me, He has a perfect plan for my life. He is the almighty, eternal, perfect God, creator of the universe and everything in it, including you and me.

God lives in His home, Heaven, where the streets are made of gold and there is no fear, pain, sickness, death, or sadness. God loves us so much that He wants to share His home with us in happiness forever, and to give us His inner peace and joy right now.

Since everything in Heaven is holy and perfect nothing bad (sin) will ever be allowed in.

What Happens After Death?

After we die, we will all go to either Heaven or Hell. The sad face tells me that we can’t go to Heaven because of sin, which is everything we think, say, or do that displeases God. Sins are things like disobeying your parents or lying, cheating, stealing, or being selfish. Romans 3:23 says, “For all (everyone) have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Since God is completely perfect and just, He has to punish sin to make things fair and right, and separate Himself from sin. The punishment for sin is being sent to Hell in pain and sadness apart from God forever. No matter how many good or religious things we do, our sins still keep us from Heaven.

Jesus Christ Died For YOU!

The red-colored cross tells me that because God loves me so much, He found a way to save me. He did this by sending His perfect Son, Jesus (fully man and fully God), who never did anything wrong, to die for me, taking my punishment for all of my sins (past, present, and future) upon Himself so I can be saved.

Men who rejected Jesus nailed Him to a cross, and that is when God took everyone’s sins and put them on Jesus. God then raised Him from the dead after three days. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world [all people] that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus], that whoever believes [trusts] in Him should not perish [Hell]but have everlasting life [Heaven].”

God Offers You Happiness Forever!

The happy face tells me that God will forgive my sins, adopt me as His child, and give me eternal life when I place my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As His child, He will be with me every day of my earthly life, and I will be with Him forever in Heaven, a place of happiness beyond my wildest dreams, and nothing can ever change that.

If you are ready to put your trust in Christ, here is a simple prayer you can use to express your faith in Him and become a child of God:

“Dear God, thank you for sending Jesus Christ to die for me, taking the penalty for all my sins and putting them on Jesus. I trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving all my sins. Make me the type of person you want me to be. Amen.”

Once you become a child of God, nothing can ever change that (even though you still sin at times), and you have now defeated death with eternal happiness guaranteed in Heaven one day. In order that you can know Him better and be the person He wants you to be, I encourage you to continue in prayer, read the Bible, find a good Bible-teaching church, and share your faith.
