It’s Your Choice!

You can be just like everyone else…

….or you can be your own person….

“Hey, baby, gimme some more of them mushroom things. Nice place here.”

You can use things to love people…

“Thanks for helping me out.”

“That’s what I got it for.”

Or you can use people to love things…

“There! Don’t move! The picture looks great as long as you stand there.”

You can follow the rules….

...or you can make your own rules

You can do what you want because it’s your choice

“Yippee!”

However, you can’t choose your consequences…

“I can’t?”

...And every choice does have consequences!

“Gulp! It does?”

...Whether from good decisions…

...or from bad decisions.

Some consequences are immediate…

“What? Smoking again?”

While some may not occur for awhile.

But there is one final consequence of life that awaits everyone.

The Bible says…

“For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)

“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.” (Hebrews 9:27)

“Yikes! Judgement?”

“[God will take] vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Thessalonians 1:8)

“Wait! What is the gospel?”

“Here it is!”

“Christ died for our sins… He was buried, and… He rose again the third day.” (1 Corinthians 15:3,4)

So, you can have eternal life in Heaven when you make the right choice. You can place your trust in Jesus as payment for your sins, or you can trust in yourself….

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13)

“Lord, Jesus, I choose to put my trust in you.”
