Here is a message from the author:

As a young believer I had enjoyed the meetings in the assembly where we met for breaking of bread each Lord's Day, Gospel meetings each Lord's Day evening, Bible Studies and prayer meetings during the week. There were also assemblies in Anoka, Duluth and many other cities that were in fellowship with us. Later on I met some one where I worked who, to my surprise, met the same way we did but was not in fellowship with us.

I then began to ask quite a few questions of brethren in our fellowship and then came to learn that there had been many divisions among the Lord's people over the years. I then began a study on the different groups of brethren and traced the divisions that had taken place over the years.

I ended up making a chart of these divisions and studied the various teachings or differences that had caused the divisions. As I searched each division I eventually ended at peace about those with whom I had fellowship.

As some other assemblies in our fellowship were interested in these sad divisions I ended up giving a series of meetings on these divisions. I trust that the recording of these meetings will be a help to others who may wonder why we are not all together. What a testimony that would be! But the differences remain and I believe that these recordings will help to explain why all the various groups cannot all be together. We have to own our own failings in connection with all of these sad failures but we continue to pray that the Lord will graciously keep us true to His Word and His Name.
