MWTB Environmental Statement

Should we pay attention to how we affect the environment? Absolutely, and as followers of Christ we have even more reason to make good use of the resources God has put into our trust.

As a publisher and distributor of printed literature, we are aware of the concerns held by many regarding the use of trees for paper production. In fact, some people have discontinued their use of printed literature altogether in an attempt to conserve natural resources. Sadly, the paper and printing industries have failed to educate the general public about the sources of the wood they use to make paper and their dependence on a healthy, renewable supply.

We are thankful to say that this trend is changing, and responsible paper mills are now making these details known. Because of this, we can assure you that all of the paper for our tracts and magazines comes from FSC-Certified sources in North America and contains at least 10% post-consumer content. This means that in addition to recycled fibers, the wood in our paper comes from well-managed forests that are harvested and replanted in accordance with strict guidelines to protect their sustainability.

As followers of Christ, it is our desire to see souls saved. At the same time, we cannot neglect our responsibility to be good stewards of the earth God has created.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30).
