Sweet Usefulness
In a woods at sugar-making time only certain trees have buckets hanging on them, catching the sweet liquid. Many other nice looking trees have been passed by. It begins to look like discrimination on someone's part that stalwart oaks and beautiful beeches are ignored.
However, we learn that only the maples have the sweetness that makes them usable. Perhaps God is waiting, before He uses us, for us to have more of the sweetness of His grace as evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23).
