Neglected Potential
Prayer is the soul's sincere desire, unuttered or expressed. Prayer is the most potential and most neglected of all the forces at the control of the Christian. It is encouraged by promises more numerous and more absolute than attach to any other one act and privilege of the believer's life. God's universal terms are peculiarly associated with it—"whosoever," "whatsoever," "wheresoever," "all," "any," "every," and the unequivocal "shall" that leaves no doubt that God answers true prayer. Prayer moves the hand that moves the world.
