Seven Principles of Christian Liberty
"Put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God" (1 Peter 2:15,16).
1. Does it violate any part of Scripture? (1 Thess. 5:21,22).
2. Does it weaken my testimony as a Christian? (2 Thess. 1:11,12).
3. Can I ask God's blessing on it? (1 Cor. 10:31).
4. Is it a stumbling block for someone else? (Rom. 14:21).
5. Does it harm me physically? (1 Cor. 6:19).
6. Does it edify me spiritually? (1 Cor. 10:23).
7. How does it advance the cause of Christ? (Col. 1:10).
