3 Provisions for Bearing Fruit

1. The gracious dealings of the Father as the husbandman in purging (v. 2).
2. Practical cleansing by the power of Christ's Word (v. 3).
3. The believer abiding in Christ by communion with Him (vv. 4,5).

3 Results of Bearing Fruit

1. Power in prayer (v. 7).
2. The Father is glorified (v. 8).
3. We are His disciples in this world (v. 8).
