Quiet Fruit
A fruit tree does not struggle and contort itself in order to bear fruit. It stands there still and quiet. It spreads its branches and leaves to the sunshine, the air, and the rain. It digs its roots into the soil for food and water. If it is a good tree, it bears good fruit. So with the Christian. If we are to bear fruit, we must dig our roots deep into the love of God (Ephesians 3:17), drink in the nourishing water, air and sunshine of His Word and His Spirit. Thus the Christian will quietly bear fruit for God in his daily life.
