Some Bible "I AM"s
The Scriptures abound with the declarations of the I AM, with the intent that the reader may come to know the I AM better and trust Him more. With this in mind, we have listed below some of the I AM statements as an aid to study and edification. See how many more I AM references you can find. Each such revelation will bless the seeking, dependent heart that wants to know Him as the all-encompassing absolute sufficiency for every moment of life.
Some O.T. "I AM"s
I AM thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
I AM the Almighty God (Genesis 17:1).
I AM the God of Bethel (Genesis 31:13).
I AM God, the God of thy father (Genesis 46:3).
I AM the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob (Exodus 3:6).
I AM THAT I AM (Exodus 3:14).
I AM the LORD (Exodus 6:2).
I AM the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).
I AM the LORD that doth sanctify you (Exodus 31:13).
I AM the LORD your God (Leviticus 11:44).
I AM a worm (Psalm 22:6).
I AM poured out like water (Psalm 22:14).
I AM poor and needy (Psalm 40:17).
Be still, and know that I AM God (Psalm 46:10).
I AM full of heaviness (Psalm 69:20).
I AM the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys (Song of Solomon 2:1).
Fear thou not; for I AM with thee: be not dismayed; for I AM thy God (Isaiah 41:10).
I AM the LORD: that is My name: and My glory will I not give to another (Isaiah 42:8).
I AM He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me (Isaiah 43:10).
I AM the LORD; and beside Me there is no Saviour (Isaiah 43:11).

Behold, I AM the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27).

John's Gospel "I AM"s
I AM the bread of life (John 6:35, 41,48,51).
I AM the light of the world (John 8:12).
Before Abraham was, I AM (John 8:58).
I AM the door (John 10:7,9).
I AM the good shepherd (John 10:11,14).
I AM the resurrection, and the life (John 11:25).
I AM the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
I AM the true vine (John 15:1,5).
I AM a king (John 18:37).
I that speak unto thee AM He (John 4:26).
If ye believe not that I AM He, ye shall die in your sins (John 8:24).
Then shall ye know that I AM He (John 8:28).
When it is come to pass, ye may believe that I AM He (John 13:19).

Revelation "I AM"s
I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending (Revelation 1:8).
I AM Alpha and Omega, the first and the last (Revelation 1:11).
I AM the first and the last (Revelation 1:17).
I AM He which searcheth the reins and hearts (Revelation 2:23).
I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 21:6).
I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:13).
I AM the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star (Revelation 22:16).
More N.T. "I AM"s
I AM with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20).
Be of good cheer: IT IS I; be not afraid (Mark 6:50).
Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I AM (Mark 14:61,62).
I AM among you as He that serveth (Luke 22:27).
IT IS I Myself: handle Me, and see (Luke 24:39).
I AM one that bear witness of Myself (John 8:18).
I AM from above…I AM not of this world (John 8:23).
I AM Jesus whom thou persecutest (Acts 9:5; 22:8; 26:15).

Ed. Note: It is most fitting that the last I AM in the Bible reveals Christ as the Blessed Hope, the "Bright and Morning Star." His coming to rapture believers out of this dark world just before the great tribulation and day of His millennial glory is a truth of much comfort and blessing for His Bride, the Church.
