A day is coming, and some of us believe it is not too far away, when God's exalted Son will come to the earth a second time, and every creature will bow to Jesus as the mighty Sovereign. Everywhere, among all nations and races of men, knees will bow and tongues will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

In that day even unbelievers will be forced to bow and confess before Him whom they have humiliated and dishonored. The Scriptures (such as Philippians 2:9-11; Romans 14:11) do not support the erroneous teaching of the final restoration of all souls. They do not point to a willing worship of the Jesus, whose subjects in that day will be no more desirous to worship Him than are the masses today. Nor do they suggest that salvation will result for those thus subjugated before Him.
