Through the kind generosity of the saints gathered unto the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ in Rochester, Minnesota, the Lord has provided Moments With the Book with an IBM PC/XT Computer. This promises to be a great help in many aspects of the work here.

Our first project is to get our mailing list into the computer (which we have named "Chester") with all the information from our card files. Though this has been a time-consuming job of many weeks, in the future the additions and changes which come to us daily will be made with greater ease, speed and accuracy than the old system of filing cards and metal plates.

The capability of programming for printing labels for mailing according to zip code is a tremendous help. Also to be able to print out other categories in the file, for example: the names of prisoners, or the names and addresses of those who respond to the offers made on the "Moments With The Book" radio broadcasts will easily allow for special mailings, as the Lord may direct.

After the computer prints the labels, each one is affixed by hand to the envelope which is then stuffed with the Moments for You. These envelopes are then separated by zip codes, banded and put into mail bags to be sent directly to USPS distribution centers throughout the country. Many are also sent to foreign lands and several thousand are sent in bulk quantities as well.

Due to the needed time for the turnover to the computer system, we have been unable to publish more than one issue for the first four months of 1985. If the Lord wills, we trust to be able to return to our bi-monthly schedule after this current issue.

The computer is an amazing machine, showing what man can do with electronic techniques to receive, store and bring out all input data on display at a command. And if we are amazed by this potential, we are overwhelmed by the thought of our God's infinite capacity of His omniscience!

In Ecclesiastes 12:14 we read, "For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be bad." Everything that every man has done or spoken, He has put into His Book of Memories and will one day make it known.

The believer in the Lord Jesus Christ is free from judgment of His person, for Christ bore that on the Cross; but, he will appear at the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven for a review of his life's works. That which will abide the judgment will bring a reward. See 1 Cor. 3:12-15.

The unbeliever will have his life and works revealed at the Great White Throne. Because his name is not in the Book of Life, he will be judged according to his works and then cast into the Lake of Fire because of his rejection of Christ as his Substitute on the cross. See Rev. 20:10-15.

God's reception, storage in memory and display will be perfect in righteous judgment for every action of every man!
