"New Frontier . . . New Federalism . . . "

Some of us leap forward with eagerness and some advance with hesitating steps and slow, but we are all getting accustomed to the idea that a new order has got to come to pass. It is when we ask what kind of an order the "new order" ought to be, that divergences of thought appear.

Are you aware of the fact that a new order is plainly predicted in the Bible? The Gospel definitely declares that God has "appointed a day in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead" (Acts. 17:31). Now righteousness is the exact opposite of sin. So it is very certain that when God sets up His new order He will not shut His eyes to the terrible fact of sin, whatever men may do. Take care that you do not shut your eyes to it; particularly to the fact of your own sins, which spoil so many pages of your life's record.

The resurrection of Christ is the pledge that the new order will be established by God when the hour is ripe; and that may be very soon. It is also the proof that the work of atonement for sin, which He undertook in His death on the cross, is not only completed but also accepted by God on our behalf. Consequently there is offered to you at this moment in the Gospel forgiveness and salvation in His name. "Through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: and by Him all that believe are justified from all things" (Acts 13:38,39).

We have yet to wait a little for God to establish His new order, but you need not wait for this. Receive the Gospel in faith, and forgiveness will be yours today. Then the coming new order will have no terrors for you. You will be glad that when it comes it will be established in Christ by the hand of God.
