A brief Bible study:

1. The Heart of Christianity—take this away and it is a lifeless thing (1 Cor. 15:17).
2. The Keystone of the Arch of Truth—it is connected with every truth in the Bible (1 Cor. 15:14).
3. The Foundation of the Church—no power of hell can ever overthrow it, for He lives as Head (Eph. 1:19-23).
4. The Mainspring of Christian Activity—for when He had accomplished His atoning work, the Father gave to Him all authority in heaven and earth, so that He could send forth His disciples to preach the Gospel, promising to be with them alway (Matt. 28:19,20).
5. The Lever to Move the World—this the world owned to its rulers in their account of the stir the apostles made by preaching the resurrection, turning "the world upside down" (Acts 17:1-7).
6. The Answer to Any Who Condemn the Believer—to bring any charge against Him (Rom. 8:34).
7. The Link Which Binds Believers Together—risen with Him we are also "seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Eph. 2:6).
8. The Life That Secures Us—for since He is risen, He is the One who is the Life Eternal; "Because He lives, we shall live also" (John 14:19).
