4. A STRIKING Proof—gave His only begotten Son
5. A SIMPLE Plan—whosoever believeth
6. A SURE Pledge—should not perish
7. A STERLING Possession—have everlasting life.

There is no greater love that to lay aside one's life for his friends. Do we remember the fact that Jesus laid His life down for us before we were His friends? We were still of the world which hates Christ (John 15:18), and were His enemies (Rom. 5:8-10).
